Changing venues is always a little daunting, as we found out the first time we moved.

After all, you never really know whether the reality will live up to the promise and expectation that prompts you to choose the new venue – at least, not until after you’ve committed and made the move.

Kings Country Bar and Restaurant at Pinkmead Farm certainly offered us lots of promise.  It’s a lovely place with a very warm and comfortable ‘feel’ to it, which, only adds to the expectation.

Of course, a BNI Chapter. like BNI Uplands Eastleigh, does have some fairly specific requirements and the way these are handled by the staff is critical to our feeling at home.  Not to mention the quality of breakfast on offer.

I’m very pleased to say that the promise and expectation have not only been met but have been exceeded by the team at Kings.  And for that, we’re really grateful.  We’ve been really well looked after and the they’ve done everything possible to make us feel at home.  Not only that but we’ve had universal praise for the standard of the breakfast, with one exception …………  there’s was just too much food!

I probably shouldn’t say this but we actually ended up asking the staff to reduce the size of the breakfast to make it a little more manageable.  It just seemed such a waste when no-one came close to eating everything on their plate.  The slightly reduced portions have gone down well (literally) and we really appreciate the fact that Kings responded to our needs so readily.
